Point Pedro Harbor is a small harbor which is situated in Point Pedro in the Jaffna peninsula. The port is controlled by the Sri Lanka Navy. In future, it may deepen the Palk Strait between India and Sri Lanka allowing larger ships to pass while significantly increasing maritime trade from the Jaffna peninsula to India.

Getting to Point Pedro Harbor

From Jaffna travel along the Jaffna-Point Pedro Road passing Nallur, Kalviyankadu, Siruppiddy and Karaveddi up to Point Pedro to reach the Point Pedro Harbor.
