Sath Mahal Prasada is a seven storied stepped pyramid situated on the Maradankadawala-Habarana-Thirukkondaiadimadu Highway in Polonnaruwa. It is located in an elevated area among the ancient ruins of the sacred city of Polonnaruwa. The Sath Mahal Prasada has entrances on all four sides of the structure and a staircase which leads to the upper levels. It is believed to have been built somewhere between the 11th and 13th century AD during the Polonnaruwa era.
