Gal Koth Kanda is a mountain situated in Kandalama. It is a triangular shape mountain located next to Erawulagala Mountain. The unique feature of Gal Koth Kanda is that it has a large rock at the top of the mountain which looks like it is about to fall. This is also the reason for the mountain to get its name. The hike to the top of Gal Koth Kanda is moderate and not so difficult to be accomplished by the average hiker.

From Sigiriya travel along the Inamaluwa – Sigiriya Road passing Kimbissa until Kandalama in Dambulla to reach the Gal Koth Kanda which is situated next to the Erawulagala Mountain.
