Rotumba Biso Ella is a waterfall which is situated in Matara. It is also known as “Bisomala Ella” or “Bisodola Ella”. Rotumba Biso Ella falls from a height of about 15 – 20 m. The waterfall is not known by many people and only few tourists come here. There is a viewing platform built here to view the waterfall.

Getting to Rotumba Biso Ella

From Mirissa travel along the Weligama – Telijjawila Road, Matara – Akuressa Highway and Akuressa – Pasgoda Road passing Weligama and Akuressa up to Pitabeddara to reach the Rotumba Biso Ella which is situated along the Pasgoda – Pitabeddara Road in Pitabeddara, Matara.
