Ranmudu Ella is situated in Labugama. The waterfall is 15 meters high and is a tributary on the Wakganga River. The waterfall feeds the Kelani River. The fall is among the very few waterfalls found in the Colombo district.

From Colombo follow on the Colombo – Avissawela highway passing Kaduwela, Hanwella up until you reach the Thummodara village in Labugama. Ranmudu Ella waterfall is about 0.5 km from here.
