Pulun Ella Fall is situated at Sigapulikande Mountain in Denawaka area in the Ratnapura District.

Pulun Ella Fall is situated at Sigapulikande Mountain in Denawaka area in the Ratnapura District. It is 86 meters high and 12 meters wide. Pulun Ella Fall consists of two segments of which the upper part is 9 meters in height. It cascades into a deep cleft which is about 6-9 meters and the overflow creates the second segment, which runs down a formation of rock.

Getting to Pulun Ella Falls

From Colombo take the Ratnapura – Horana – Panadura Highway and go past Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte and Ingiriya until Denawaka area in Ratnapura. Turn to Devalegama road and travel about 0.5 km along this route to reach the Pulun Ella Falls.
