Isipathanaramaya Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Colombo.

Isipathanaramaya Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Colombo. It is situated Havelock Town. The temple was built in 1916 by a wealthy merchant Duenuge Disan Pedris in memory of his one and only son Henri Pedris who was executed by the British in 1915. Maligawe Sarlis painted the murals in the temple. Later in November 2016, a statue of Lord Buddha in the standing position was unveiled at the temple by President Maithripala Sirisena.
