Goxin Falls is situated in the Ratnapura district. It stands at a height of 50 meters and flows over a rock to join the Kaluganga River at Gilemale. There is a deep pool at the base of the waterfall. The surrounding area consists mainly of tea plantations.

Getting to Goxin Falls

From Colombo take the Panadura-Nambapana-Ratnapura Highway and go past Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte and Ingiriya until Ratnapura. Go along the Ratnapura – Wewelwatte road and turn left at Nugapola town onto the Dehena – Kande Road. Go through Wewalketiya village and Kambiadia. From here it is 4 km to Halakande village where the Goxin Falls waterfall can be found.
