Ginigedara Ella Falls is a waterfall which is situated inside a forest near Bulathsinhala in the district of Kalutara.

Ginigedara Ella Falls is a waterfall which is situated inside a forest near Bulathsinhala in the district of Kalutara. It is mostly visited by environmental students due to the biodiversity of the area. The waterfall cascades down two protruding rock formations from a height of 14 m. It falls into a dark cave which sets it apart from the other waterfalls.

Getting to Ginigedara Ella Falls

From Colombo travel along T.B. Jayah Mawatha, Kollupitiya Sri Jayawardenapura Road up to Battaramulla. Then travel along Robert Gunawardena Mawatha and Kotte-Bope Road to enter the Southern expressway and exit it from Dodangoda. Then go along the Nagoda – Kalawellawa – Bellapitiya Road passing Matugama and Agalawatta to reach the Ginigedara Ella Falls which is situated along Batwatte Road, Mahagama near Bulathsinhala in the Kalutara district.
