The Galle Harbor is a natural harbor located in the Southwestern coast of the island. It is the only Sri Lankan port that entertain pleasure yachts and has been recognized as one of the world’s best attractions for yachting. It is one of the most important harbors of the country and remained in the top position until an artificial harbor was built in Colombo in 1873.
