The Dutch Government House is situated in Church Street in Galle Fort. It is a building which was used for administrative purposes back in the day and stands right opposite the old post office or the Dutch church. The building is a great place to experience the colonial architecture. This building which was built in 1683 was the residence of the Dutch Governor in Galle.
