Athamala Falls is situated in the Matara district. It is 52 meters in height and cascades in to three sections. It is a beautiful waterfall near Morawaka.

Getting to Athamala Falls

From Galle take the Galle-Deniyaya-Madampe Highway and go past Imaduwa, Amalagoda and Akuressa until Pitabeddara. Travel about 3 km along the Athamala Ella Road to reach the Athamala Falls.
