Wewurukannala Buduraja Maha Viharaya is a Buddhist temple situated in Dikwella, southern Sri Lanka.

Wewurukannala Buduraja Maha Viharaya is a Buddhist temple situated in Dikwella, southern Sri Lanka. There is a large golden statue of Lord Buddha in the seated position at this temple. It is 160 feet in height and is the largest of the type in Sri Lanka, dating back to the era of King Rajadhi from 1782 to 1798. This Buddhist temple also has a museum attached to it. Its highlight is a large clock which can be seen from font of the building. The mechanism of the clock is protected inside a glass cubicle and it works fine, up to date.
