The Alms Hall is a ruined building structure which is situated in Mihintale. It is believed to be the place where daily alms were provided to the monks who lived at the ancient monastery in Mihintale. Ruins of a porridge boat, rice bowl, kitchen and stores have been found at the location. The building is believed to have been built on 48 stone pillars. Apart from the main entrance to the hall, two other entrances have been discovered to the right and north of the main entrance.

From Anuradhapura travel along the Puttalam – Anuradhapura – Trincomalee Highway and the Kandy – Jaffna Highway up to Mihintale to reach the Alms Hall which is situated along Old Road in Mihintale.
